It was done using a filter plugin called Fractalius, from Redfield Plugins.

Very nice. It looks like a surreal painting on top, but with a sliver of photograph peeking through. I mean that in a good way.

Thank you very much for the comments. I had to play with this one for quite some time because of the cat's coloring and the stones he was sitting on melting into one and other. I'm glad you liked it.
