It's a blessing, yes I do believe that. A way to let your feelings out when you don't know what else to do.
Thanks for reading and I'm happy you like it! ♥

I'm not good with poems or poetry but this sounds very much like someone sacrificing everything in the name of love.

You can write LOTR fonts! XD

Or someone being a fool... it depends on your perspective. From the other side of that bridge I feel like the latter. Heh >_<

It's enchanting, reading someone who is usually silent about personal journeys to be so poetically voluble. Hmm...what you call 'mad handwriting' I call raw grace. To have typed these brave words, would have indeed been criminal. It would have been as if Monet used digital. It is telling that you use religious images in the over tones. Have you committed a selfless holy act? Killing the passionate part of yourself for the good of another? Will you continue your journey carrying that weighty cross, with it's unforgiving, unrelenting, and unabating painful splinters? Perhaps M will bring you an Advent wreath and lay it at your cross. Crying there, suffering, feeling that they are in fact, crucified. Love is a great prize to lose, Bef. This poem of yours is a strange miracle. It should be set to music.

Crucifixion by love is a flawed thing, I think. The divine spirit is based upon this idea of sacrificing so that others may live. The spirit informs everything. The spirit is not inferior to love. It IS love.

I hope you do more poetry. Your words have great worth.

Ahhh you are too generous, truly. I am the most selfish person in the world, believe me...

But yes, I suppose... back when I wrote these poems (more than a decade ago!) I did make the effort to let somebody go. Not M that's a different problem for the present ... this was more of my first love. Heh

Funny you should say that - one of my other poems from those bygone days *was* recorded to music. This one: [link]

And that is why, crucifixion by love is a sort of ecstasy too... and we can argue that the saints were all holy fools.

As it happens I'm on a poetry kick for art inspiration so I hope the old poems I will be following through with will meet with your enjoyment too.

It seems like a little sad, and if you ask me a little like drowning. Very nice though, like transmitting feelings, don't know.

I think there are many ways in it.
So forgive me, if I do not exactly touch yours with my words. Poems where there is space for thinking are the better ones.
There comes the time when that crime is forgiven, like every crime once is forgiven by one.
This world is ruled by love. You have it, and are happy; you don't have it and are unhappy. It's a strong force, affecting ones's life since the moment you get aware of what you lack or have.
Maybe the way out is to see it as something else than punishment or a crime. It can be the saviour too.
It can kill you, and it can give you life.
