Description
This was a fun experiment with a plastic gem and some glitter "snow" paint.The gem kind of did crazy things in the oven, which I wasn't expecting, but I almost like the result since it no longer looks exactly like a craft gem, and more like something... else.
I'm less impressed with this glittering paint, the glitter was very sparse and most of the paint was a white stuff that dried to clear. In the future if I want shimmery glittery look, I'll just used colored sculpey I think

I can't keep all the little sculptures I'm producing, I'm running out of room! I'm even considering selling my original sleeping eevees to make some space, but at the same time I don't wanna

maybe if you ever make/remake something like this, instead of putting the craft gem in the oven with the sculpture, you can make the imprint of where you want to put the gem, then take the gem off, cook the clay, then super glue/hot glue the gem back on? this is ADORABLE btw!

Well, I think maybe the brand of gem was rather cheap and I just need to find gems with higher melting points XD I put a different kind of gem into a dragon I made recently and forgot to take it out one time when I was cooking it and it was fine. It went through several cookings after that while I worked on detail without any issues so yeah.
