Reblog this on Tumblr HERE! Please do not repost!Happy 2018! It's the first post of the new year! However, since I started and finished this while I was visiting Dye last year, it's signed as 2017. But I wanted something cute and happy and bright to start off 2018, since my last minute Inktober mad-dash preoccupied me. (Hopefully I can do better this year on that bit if I participate again this year!)
Anyway, here's something fun I sketched on paper, but decided to take it to SAI for adjustments. I really wanted to do another cute colorful illustration with these guys and had this idea kicking around in my head. Can't believe I finished it, laughs!!

Words cannot accurately describe how I love this. The background looks like you could make your own paper. This is so lovely. I cannot get over their adorable interactons I cannot get over literally any part of this. I love these babies and the attention you put in their designs and the love you put into their personality.

Where do I start with this? Where do I even start with this? I love the colors, I think one of my favorite things about Citron Bon Bon is the pastel color scheme, it's just so bright and soft and it makes me so happy. I love the unifying design of white and polka dots and how you made each outfit unique to each girl. Favorite details are the ruffles on Lucia's sleeves, Liliana's nail polish and Gabbi's shoe laces.
I love love love the little detail of Menti's palms being lighter toned. A lot of artists forget that and it's so refreshing to see it drawn. And I am just in love with Gabbi's freckles. Full body freckles are something I'm exploring in an oc of my own and I love seeing them on other ocs. 2018 needs more frecklebabies gosh darn it.

So cute! I especially love how individual you made everyone's shoes! I know that may seem like an odd thing to fixate on, but for someone like me who has a hard time drawing more than two kinds of footwear, it's admirable! Please keep up the good work in 2018 ^___^
