This was originally a birthday gift for Enaxn , but since it's almost three entire months late I shouldn't really call it that... lmao.ANYWAY! Promo poster image... thing for Anne's comic!
If you're not reading Enaxn 's brain story TheLastAysse then you should really be asking yourself why! Its storyline has been in the works for YEARS and it's finally hitting comic format! It's all about Switchback and her brother Ckazz on their huge adventure to find out why their world is dying. It's SO good, and I love the plot line and the universe its set in. It's only finished its first chapter so far, but it's going to get even more awesome C: I'm also lucky enough to be helping with the inking! I don't really have a brain story of my own for my own characters, so it's really fun to join in with Anne's brain child!

Once again, colour matching digital refs with traditional markers is freaking DIFFICULT. Sorry that some of the colours are a little off, but I wanted this to be solely a marker piece and my colour fixing is usually done with pencils. Oh well. #TraditionalArtistProblems.
I'm sorry I'm not around much at the moment as well, work is really getting me down at the moment, and I've got so little time or motivation to draw or come online and respond to comments/deviations etc. I hope once I've moved jobs in a month's time I'll get a little bit more free time and motivation again.

You didn't just draw a character or two YOU DREW THEM ALL. What. How. WHY. LOL MOST IMPORTANTLY WHY. THERE'S SUCH A BIG PILE OF ENAXN CHILDREN AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE I CAN'T EVEN WRAP MY MIND AROUND IT!!!!
So first of all I know I saw this all the time but YOU UNDERSTAND MY CHARACTERS SO WELL. OH MY GOD. I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE FRIENDS WHO GET ME AND DRAW THINGS FOR ME AND LET ME TALK TO THEM WITHOUT HATING ME and uuuuugh I LOVE YOU!!!! I also REALLY like how it's got transparent qualities to it. That means I can post it everywhere and it looks awesome. AND I LOVE IT <____<
BUT ANYWAY YES OH GOD. I'm just going to start at the top and work my way down sorry about it but not really ahahaha. PROCA IS AT THE TOP AND SHE LOOKS SO MEAN AHAHAHA I LOVE IT!!!! I love how almost everyone thinks she's an adorable kawaii fluff princess but she's a huge bitch 95% of the time. IT'LL BE GREAT!!!! But omg I love how she's BLACK WITH RED EYES. IT'S SO MENACING. I LOVE IT!!! She's really well-positioned at the top there too. Just far enough away so all the protagonists are safe from her haha.
AND DENALI I LOVE HOW YOU DRAW HIS SCALES EVERY SINGLY TIME. EVERY SCALE. He's absolutely not going to have all his face scales in the comic. We'll both go insane lolol BUT ANYWAY YES AHAHA LOOK AT HIM. I really love how BLUE his top-fuzzies are! And his scales are so DETAILED!!! I love how you shined EVERY SINGLE ONE omg you have the patience of a SAINT! They all look so good and SHINY though! I really love his beard too. You did the dark-to-light transition really super well, and yet SOMEHOW it's totally obvious that the shine on the front oh his beard is still a shine and not white fur. HOW DO YOU DO THAT. Witchcraft. WITCHCRAFT.
OBIQ YOU SNARKY RUDE LITTLE BASTARD. He looks so irritated with everyone.... which is probably accurate lolol. Omg I seriously can't wait to get to all these guys in the comic. It's insane. BUT ANYWAY YES omg you did him so well!! I love how BLUE he is!! Plus I love how MANLY and crooked his nose is. Like I freakin' LOVE that. Plus I love that extra chin fluff you always give him. I've totally made that canon now. CHIN FLUFF IS CANON. It's like a little goatee of blue. It's amazing. And just. Ugh. He looks so freaking UNAMUSED. LMAO. Agh I love how his hair runs ALL THE WAY down his back like that. It's so pretty! His folded wings turned out really well too! Plus his unamused green eyes loooool Obiq you're precious.
AND CKAZZ OH MY GOD. I cannot EVER express how PERFECTLY you draw Ckazz. EVERY SINGLE TIME. With his large bulky moose muzzle and his manly moosey browline and ugh EVERY TIME. IT'S PERFECT *EVERY TIME*. And he just looks so ANNOYED too. But not annoyed the way Obiq does, it's more like an exasperated 'ugh you're annoying but I still care way too much about you ugh ugh' face. I love it I LOVE it. Plus his sideways ears are always SO ADORABLE. I also like that you made his antlers light like that. I've been making them dark in the comic because they're still growing for the season and velvety, but they'll ultimately look like they do here. IT'S COOL OKAY. Plus that little fluffy moose fluff patch ... ruff?... idk IT LOOKS WONDERFUL. His mane has really lovely highlights to it too. Aghhhh you make him so wonderful every single time. <33333
SCHNEEEEEE. I can't wait to get to her either. Lololol. BUT LOOK AT HER. LOOK AT THE *WINK*!!!! AHAHAHA I LOVE IT. You make her SO INSANELY FLUFFY and it's perfect. Look at that cheek fluff LOOK AT IT!!! I am in LOVE!!! Plus her head fuzz is so very legit and perfect and lovely around her dark pointy ears. SHE'S SO IN CHARACTER I LOVE HER. And her big brown eyes. Ugh so much love Schnee SO MUCH LOVE.
AND THEN KOH IS POPPING HIS LITTLE HEAD IN LIKE "HI THERE'S ME!!!!!" he's so small and chipper and it's PERFECT FOR HIM. I love his expression. It's downright adorable. Plus I love how whiskery he is. And cheerful. HE'S SO CHEERFUL EEEEE. Plus I really love the way you do lynx ear tufts. They have a ton of character to them when they're slanted like that for some reason. Ahhh I just LOVE him!!
AND SONSIE. IN THE CORNER. LOOKING SO SMOOTH. Oh my god I love it. His expression is just so... suave. And it's awesome. Because he's like that. Super charming and cool and collected and sometimes he's completely insane. BUT LOOK AT HIM. How did you even make his brown so much cooler than Ckazz and Koh's? HOW. It's so spot-on though! And I LOVE hos fluffy his cheeks are. My GOD you're good with cheek fluff. And his mane is shaded so divinely and omg he's wonderful. Look at those cool green eyes. Ahhhhh I love him I can't wait to get to him either. THIS IS A PATTERN WHAT.
AND SWITCHBACK. OH MY GOD. All up in the front with THAT FACE. It's the face of "Why yes this comic is all about me these are all characters that are less important than I am look how awesome I am I totally deserve an entire comic devoted to me" IT'S SO SMUG AND PERFECT and EXACTLY the way I picture her to be, like, 90% of the time. Omg you understand her so very well it's kind of crazy sometimes. AND I JUST. UGH. Her pose. It EXUDES confidence. Her fluffy white chest is all puffed out and her neck is all fluffy and her legs are thick and fuzzy in the back and ugh SHE IS SO PERFECT!!!! I seriously cannot get over her FACE. She wraps up this pile of glory SO PERFECTLY. And I love how her leg fuzzies are trailing on the ground in the back and. I just. Ugh. Switchback I cannot. You sassbucket why.

I'm beyond stoked you like it so much! It was a bit of a challenge cramming them all in and even now I feel Proca is a wee bit squashed up at the top but I'm going to pull out the *ARTIST* card and insist it's perspective. Yup. Totes.
I think drawing Koh was my favourite part (after Switchback of course because she always ranks top in my favourite cats to draw) because he's beyond adorable! He's got such the sweetest personality ever 8D
I was amazed at how different Ckazz looks when I draw him by myself, because of course usually... You've drawn him first! I can't quite put my finger on how he looks different, but he does.. It's a bit weird and I'm not 100% sure I like him, but as long as you think he looks okay then that's fine |D
I'm glad we don't have to draw ALL OF THE SCALE. I like Denali but I think my brain would explode after three pages...
