My dearest Barthy. His story, his world, all of that is such a loaded thing. I have worked on Lyenne, the world he is born into, since around third grade. I have been altering, adjusting, expanding, and modifying it all this time. He and many others have their stories living rent free in my head. And believe me, you'll see more about Bartholomew, both in this form and in the form I have adapted to the wonderful world of Felvargs !

Lyenne is a world somewhat similar to earth, but with a lot of key differences as well. Magic, different species, different beliefs are all some of the things you'll see different. Humans still believe themselves to be the highlight species, calling any non human or those with animalistic features "Lessers". This is done purposefully, to show my interpretation of the problem I see with humans as a race and how they feel they are above everything else in the world they inhabit as a whole. Obviously there will be those who are good too, but there will also be those who are cruel and even racist.

Essentially, there is a sort of hierarchy and level to things. From most revered / respected to those viewed less favorably...

The God and Goddess

The Divinities / The Elementals

Helpers (Those who assist the Divine / Elemental)

Guardians (Angelic beings of all races, essentially)

Humans

Lessers (Those with general human-esc features but also with animal features as well. Ears, tails, even other forms fall into this)

Mythicals (Special creatures outside of what you'd find on Earth in comparison) | Animals

Dreamends (Demons, essentially.)

??? (Still working on an official term! Basically the baddest of the bad, head / most power the Dreamends. Character exists in lore, but not his title.)
