Description
A fanmade Light ancient breed concept mimicking the popular website Flight Rising
*Breed Lore*
Created by Lightweaver to hunt Emperors, these children of light were equipped with long claws, strong magic, and even stronger legs.
-
For a while they leaved peacefully along ancient imperials, providing a sense of relief and security that should any issue arise, there would be a solution. With this peace and unity among her flight, Lightweaver cherished her children for they were like sunbeams in a world of chaos for her. She would shine light down upon the squadrons of Beamstalkers whenever they took down an emperor, and they craved this attention from her. They hungered for her praise.
-
And so when emperors started to appear more and more, suspicions and rumors spread around settlements.
-
Imperials grew wary of the Beamstalkers and Lightweaver turned her eyes solely to them, only to see they they were no longer hunting emperors, but the imperial dragons themselves, then slaying the resulting emperors for her praise. Ceasing her praises did not cease the slaughter of her first children, and instead drove them to destroy the scrolls of imperials, jealous that she had not also turned away from them.
-
She didn't turn her back on the problem, just on the solution.
-
That's what they saw. They hated it. They hated her. And they were sealed into a city destroyed by one of their own creations, her light forever cut from the darkened city.
-
She called it the Hewn City, not from it being made of her light, but of it being cut from it and shaped into a cell to hold her failed solution. She warned her children, the imperials, her only children as far as she now cared, to not go there for it was cursed and dangerous.
-
The imperials listened, leaving the beamstalkers to be forgotten to time.
