On your travels through the Donia Region, you may notice an odd patch of dirt here and there; one that doesn't quite match the textrue of the earth around it. Chances are what you've actually noticed is a Widdole peaking out of its burrow! Widdole have masses of curled, messy fur on their backs that pick up dirt, pebbles, and other subterranean debris as they travel through the tunnels and burrows they create. This not only provides it with natural camouflage among the soil, but also provides it a natural defense against the claws and teeth of predators! The little Widdole gets a chance to run off, and the other Pokémon might knock a berry loose as a consolation.

Widdole are common to the Donia region, especially near areas like Centriston Town and Verenses City.
