I like the colours and the way you've got the tree on the left framing the whole photograph.
I think it's slightly over-exposed... or the contrast is too high. I'm not sure though because on looking back at the image it seems to work very well in that way. The colours are really vibrant.... I love autumn colours!

Thanks. I have heightened the colours and the exposure very slightly on photoshop to give more definition. I agree with what your sayingthough, maybe ive done it a bit much

wonderful contrast between teh silhoettes of teh tress and teh yellow son teh path, if you aded a token child into teh picture im thinkign it would make it interestinger just at the center but you cant take this pic again so why i bothered to even speak, sorry. anyway very nice

A good overall shot, but the focal point doesn't really seem defined. That might be in part due to the soft focus.
You are correct; less is more, and that is what I like about this photograph.
The specular, highly directional light is a great touch. The shadows that it casts offer a very ominous appearance to the landscape. The path works wonderfully as a leading line to take you to the very end of the photograph, but I wish that you had opened the iris to about f/11 to get a longer depth of field (to make the photograph seem endless) and slowed your shutter for the equivilant exposure.

This shot was only really taken as a snap at the time. It was only when i got home that i realised that the pathway allowed for a good shot, so i wasnt really taking care to monitor the settings and everything (Something i wont be repeating again

I think the shot is a bit overexposed... yes, you would have some parts even darker, but that can be fixed in photoshop easily (with Levels)... also, despite the quality of your camera, the image quality is somehow weird

your right, it is in parts. I think that has come from the editing i have done to it. Slightly increasing the contrasts to give more definition to the colours and lights. Unfortunately, as you said, it has given some loss to other aspects of the shot. Thanks for some very constructive comments.

i love the autumn colors! is Israel we have summer or winter, autumn and fall are for about 2 weeks... so i can't seem to find some colors like that. very nice concept and nice angle on the tree, great piece!
