Description A simple wallpaper choosing pane for switchboard. Figure I'd fix it up a bit since its now part of a larger plug. The cog on the wallpaper thumbnails will give a menu to edit the zoom options like center, crop, etc. And selecting multiple wallpapers automatically gets you multiple backgrounds.

If you use elementary OS Beta you get these wallpapers elementaryos.org/journal/luna-...

Nice!

Maybe I'd try showing that semitransparent band only on mouseover, I like the clean look of the images without it, without visual interference.

O_o, purdy. I particularly like how you've segregated the window controls in this mockup. Would the whole area left (or right) of the separator be clickable to close (or maximise/restore) the window?

With this design is not easy to create slideshow wallpapers with pre-selected wallpapers

What do you mean?

If I want to create a slideshow with only some wallpapers, not all them in my library, how I do that, like in win 7. Sorry 4 my english.

I'm thinking that if slideshow mode is turned off you can only select one wallpaper. Turn it on, then you're able to select multiple wallpapers.

I think it is necessary to await the development of wallpaper to see if they are incorporating support for themes and the way it would work (?)

Ad hoc wallpaper slide-shows, that's excellent! What might also be nice would be an option to save the current selected ad hoc slide-show as a pre-set slide-show.

Yeah, you know where it has the "Photos" menu there could be a slideshow option. There you could either drag and drop option of a collection of pictures or you could make a new show by browsing photos and adding them to a queue. An even cooler thing would be a contract between shotwell's albums to this here plug converting the album into a slideshow. Maybe even a slideshow (as in a pptx or such) could be used for the desktop. I wish i could have Deskscapes [link] (or even simpler, I just want to play a nice serene video of a wheat field for my wallpaper) for ubuntu.

Definitely digging how you've used buttons inside the "content area" here. Looks sweet.
