This is a second poem on the subject of a leannán sídhe.
My first one can be found here:

The idea of a source of inspiration that also leads one to madness and death
is very Faustian. But it is an intriguing concept that could explain why
so many young genius talents end up meeting tragic ends too soon.

I was talking with a couple of friends about them earlier this week
and was encouraged to visit the subject again. I think it makes
a wonderful excuse for being inspired by darker thoughts,
the sort of thoughts that sweep over me when I read
the deliciously dark works of my dear friend,
the ever-inspirational, Lorian-AinDal .
