well nobody has commented on this in a while.. but i really like it... i like the stubble on the chin.. reminds me of some dark world where everyone is in suits and carries guns.. almost like a silent unnoticed war.
well shot, the only thing (as mentioned a billion times before) is the focus.. but that doesnt really bother me all too much. great shot!

i like the idea a lot. i wish it had more focus tho and maybe a more dgy lighting, shadows casting on the other side or something. if the face was directed somewhwre else it would also look less bulky, right now the jaw is almost a part of the neck. or maybe it's just th cropping. well, although i'm so critical i'm commenting cos i like this.

first of all, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I seriously appreciate such extensive feedback! anyways this one has been shot really long ago, well 4 months aint that long but I think I've improved a lot, I'm looking forward to do this concept again when my new 105mm/2,8 and studio lights arrive! Men in suits... I like and with a gun as well...even better! Great overall tone you've set in this piece- the colours suit your image well and lovely composition. I can image it as the cover for a British movie. Don't ask me why.

Wonderful photo. Perfectly cropped to capture the ambiguity and namelessness of him. So simple, yet so effective. And I agree with those who've found it sexy. The contrast of the black and white of the suit looks brilliant, but I think that not greyscaling the whole photo and keeping the skin tone just makes it beautiful. Its a really excellent photo. I love it.

great capture. silver might have been a little distracting. . . not sure. i like how it blends in this way though. my only suggestion would be to crop the top just a bit more so only half as much chin were showing. that's just me, though, and i have this thing against chins. . . yes, i'm serious.
*side note: i don't know if you've ever seen those sketches where people lie with their heads upside down and draw faces on their chins. . . but i think that's where i got my phobia.
back to the main thought: on second thought. a silver gun would be pretty sharp. that or a nice gray/silver tie to make the gun pop out a bit.
