This is a drawing I made for my friend KiwiStrxwberry , I was going to draw her for her birthday no matter what, but I’m also entering this drawing in a contest she’s hosting (www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XoIxk… ). For the contest it had to be birthday themed, so I added ballons to the background. To be honest, I totally forgot it had to be birthday themed until I was 85% done shading her, so the balloons were an after touch.
Ok, so while I was making this, my IPad was glitching and my art program completely spazzed out on me. I had just finished inking the balloons and it kicked me out and wouldn’t let me go back in. I was freaking out that I was gonna miss the deadline, and I told my family that I was thinking of backup plans. (Like taking my most recent saved picture and finishing in photoshop with a trackpad). My dad asked if I had tried turning it off and on again. I rebooted my iPad, and it was working fine. I feel dumb now QvQ. At least it’s working again and I finished lmao.
I am open to constructive criticism, lemme know your honest thoughts!

I mostly study to get really fast at all the tasks in a painting. The more I work on it the more chance of messing it up 😅
