Oh dear oh dear...my computer is sticky...with blood from my nosebleed. I'm going to take a few moments and look at him in all his smirking glory (in a totally non-creepy way).
You captured his personality very well. His smirk is a bit mocking, but in more of a kind good way . It's like he is enjoying the fact that he knows something no one else does, and is acting like he won't tell anyone.
I like the way you drew his hair. You didn't draw every single strand of it, and it holds together and has a sort of cohesiveness. Sometimes I think that Sephiroth's hair is as much of a character as he is...I wind up being very jealous of people who can properly draw his hair like you did, because I've tried to draw his hair several times and kind of got frustrated. Maybe it's the Shinra shampoo?
On the evidence that his bangs seem a bit shorter to me, am I right that this is the Sephy from Crises Core?

Heheheh thanks for the hanky *wipes blood off* It's not you who should be saying sorry, it should be Sephiroth.
I like the Sephy from Crises Core better. Especially in that one beautiful cut scene where he fights Angeal and Genesis and basically beats them both at the same time...while smirking ...I love the way he moves gracefully and keeps his aura of calmness the entire time.
I don't know about that shinra shampoo stuff. You remember those monster things who's "mako levels were exponentially higher" that Sephiroth found in the reactor just before Genesis came flying in to tell Sephy he was a monster? Maybe the shampoo was infused with mako and it made Sephy's hair mutate and naturally just have that hairstyle. Or maybe the shampoo was an experiment that Hojo wanted to try out, and has Jenova cells in it. Heh! Maybe Sephy uses it on his wing too?

Sorry I haven't replied in a while. I was busy plowing snowdrifts of homework out of my room.
That scene is my absolute favorite!
I think I have watched it so many times that all the lines were, well, beat into my head! And their is Sephy and his sexiness almost beating Genesis (who somehow manages to smile even though Sephy has the upper hand). Talking to Sephy, (and especially the other stuff) would be fun...heh heh heh!
Sephy is the only one we here about who is using the shampoo, so maybe he is the only one using it. The reason he has so many fangirls is probably because his hair smells so good.

Aha, Alternate Universe! I got it, thanks
Well, I cannot help but write about Sephi Oh, I suppose you're right, some people don't like OC's in already-completed stories. As for me, it just depends. I think if someone puts in an OC so cleverly and they fit into the story, then it's a success. However, I find it hard to read fanfics with OC's that completely disrupt the storyline of the original. Hmm, I guess it's because if I loved the original story, and someone's going to put another character in it, I'd rather them make the story what it was and perhaps even better, than alter in completely (and the characters within the story). When I write a fanfic, I try to make any OC's fit in flawlessly. Of course... it won't always work. Oh, a video... with my picture? If you did, may I ask that you link something back to my original picture so people know the artist? I would like to take a look at the video, as long as my internet lets me.

Yeh, I have to agree. CC showed him at his best. AC just made me want to smack him...but he wasn't himself (which is probably why I didn't like him in AC as much).
I have the director's cut of AC on my computer. It's a pathetic admission I know, but I watch it just so I can hear "that voice" sometimes. *wistful sigh* Wow...can we say -fangirl-? /facepalm

Same here; AC was the first thing I saw that was a part of FFVII's world so I didn't understand much of it.
Oh yes, I could give Hojo a punch or two.... actually, I don't even want to go near the guy, so instead, I'll just push him off the Sister Ray with a large pole.
Oh, I see. That'd be a little fun to just watch all the cutscenes, but I do enjoy the games. I just wish there was so much more in CC... I wasn't nearly satisfied with that game, though I do love it. I think SE should do a movie sequel of DoC, perhaps, and then do another game detailing all of Sephiroth, mostly his past (he'd be your main character). But of course, the latter is more of a personal wish of mine, so I doubt it'd be made into a game. I can still dream about it and hope, I suppose!
Ah, I write my own fanfic... but I still want more games in that world! They should just get on the ball and remake VII already.

I never got to actually play the games, sadly. But, I've read more than my share of information from various places as well as a HUGE list of fanfics. Altho fanfics aren't necessarily well known for their accuracy they're immense fun. As far as SE doing any movies of any of their past games it's pretty much a lost cause for fans to expect it. However, yes, we can definitely dream. (and I do often. ) It would be so epic to have a movie detailing Sephiroth, his life and the little details we don't actually know (and yet we can easily speculate on). I'm with you on that. Definitely a personal wish (desire?) hehehe My thoughts on ole Sephy are often conflicted but recently I've been headed down the "omgIlovehim" path. *tsks* Ah well, such is the way of things I suppose. Altho most hate him, and he was admittedly a great bad-guy, he's probably one of my favorite characters. Cloud is too emo (but at times sweet), Zack is just yummy beyond description and too fun to watch, Vincent is just...well, let's just say I'm a die-hard fan from the get-go...and then there's Seph. *swoon* Yeh. Something about the bad boys I guess. *evil grin*

Aw, the games are a lot of fun, especially the original and CC. DoC is a good game too, but waay too short; I know some people hated the gameplay and even the story, but I never had a problem with it. Hehe, I’ve read a lot of fanfics too, but unfortunately I’ve yet to find a good fanfic with Sephiroth from CC. That’s one reason why I started writing my own, for myself; and it’s not that other people can’t write well or anything, it’s just not the kind of fanfic I’m looking for, or it doesn’t seem realistic to me. I’m way too involved in FFVII to settle for an unbelievable fanfic, I suppose.
*sigh* yes, it’s hard to imagine SE making anything for VII other than a sequel to DoC or a remake of VII. -_- Oh, actually I was thinking more of a game detailing Sephiroth and his life, but a movie would be pretty damn awesome too Oh gosh, just to have a 2-hour movie of almost nothing but seeing Sephiroth and his life… I’d keel over and come back to life! (In his world hopefully ) Then again, if they did make a game like that for the PS3 or upcoming 4, the graphics would be good enough that I’d be satisfied with playing it as a game.
Sephiroth does make a good bad-guy, admittedly, but I think he makes a better hero, or at least a better person when he’s being himself, and being good. Still though, I love Seph from CC, but I can’t deny there’s some temptation about his evil side… Ah, yes, Cloud’s so cute and can be really sweet, especially in CC when he was only—what, 14 I think? D’aaw… Ohh, and Zack… yes, I love Zack, he’d be so fun to hang out with, but he’s incredibly hot too. He must think so of himself too, otherwise he wouldn’t hit on so many ladies And you can’t go wrong with Vincent, never. My cousin loves Vincent the most, and I can see why, though of course for me Sephiroth comes first and foremost.
