"The Dawn Rune is one of the Three Runes of Falena, and is normally housed in Falena’s East Palace. The Dawn Rune, like the Twilight Rune, was created from the fragments of the Night Rune when it transformed itself into a sword.

The Dawn Rune always held great importance to the residents of the Falena Queendom. The Sindar Ruins at Ceras Lake and the Deep Twilight Forest have special doorways and mechanisms that react to the Dawn Rune. The properties of the Sun Rune are also adjusted by the Dawn Rune, changing it from a fearful light of destruction to a kindly glow. The Dawn Rune also mingles with the Twilight Rune, and can unite their powers if such is their will. The combined power is immense, as it combines the properties of both Runes to create light that can simultaneously heal and mutilate allies and foes."

The Dawn Rune is not a True Rune, but rather a powerful unique Rune known as a "Child Rune" which formed (along with the Twilight Rune) when the Night Rune severed its bonds with the Sun Rune. It is borne on the right hand to symbolise the rising sun at dawn.
