It's a line of of boat garages, most of which have been converted into bedrooms for the owners to spend a few weeks on the beach in, with some more rooms built on top of those garages. All in all, it would look like a slum if it weren't for the boats, the ubiquitous cats, and the nearness of the sea: the three saving graces that make the place so atmospheric and picturesque.

That's a good idea!!!We do that on our canals!!!Near the moorings there are houseboats ,,,,All the other boats sail about from place to place!!!I would love a houseboat,,,They are as expensive as real houses when they are done up!!!
