georgeous girl, and georgeous picture. love all the colors, the red against the blue, and the dress picking up on the colors of the wall. Nice portrait!

Great colours! I usually don't like freckles, but they suit her - make her look cute and childlike. At first glance she reminded me a bit of Kirsten Dunst!

freckles are as clean as any othe skln.
Quite sad to heaer society makes people categorize this natural characteristic with blemish etc. very sad.
Well, but I find skin with no extra extremely boring and tiring, I orefer dynamics and "character" in a face. so maybe we are even lol

Ehmm.. I said it's a personal preference, so I cannot understand why you say it's 'societies categorizing'. It's like you tell that to a man who prefers blonds over brunettes... Anyway.

You mean that if someone prefers white to dark chocolate it's because he is a racist and society put these ideas in his brain? ooooooook...

preconcieved preferences in people, and someones taste in chocolate or any other food are completly diffent.
Magazines tv and mass culture are what tell us that 'clean' skin and blonds v/s brunettes are beautiful, because everytime we look at posters or magazines, the photos are airbrushed (or photoshopped now adays)
so your preconcieved idea that 'you don't like freckels' has been etched into you by mass cultures idea of beautiful. you can't even see it as beautiful, yo usee it as 'cute and childish'.
If you don't want to be acused of following social norms, then make your own distinction and look at all people fresh new way, and make your decision there, reather than deciding ahead of time that you don't like freckels, or any other natural charactersitic for that matter.

I see you are too very eager to accuse me (or anyone else most probably) of being blind because of magazines etc. You know, I'm a photographer myself, I know what is done on those photos more than many others. And yes, I may do it too sometimes if I see it fit.
You do not even know me though, yet you are so quick and harsh on your judgment about me. Who is the blind here, really?
I used a word wrongly - the word childlike. English is not my mother language, so I didn't know this is an offending word. I do not see though how this excuses your own attack upon myself and my personality.
Whatever though, it's been over two months from that conversation and I'm really not in the mood of continuing that subject. Everyone can believe what he likes, it is of no concern to me.
Have a nice day.

that example makes no sense to me and seems quite far-fetched.

Well, your own reaction on my first comment seems something like that to me too, you know. I just made a compliment to you "I usually don't like freckles, but they suit her - make her look cute and childlike. At first glance she reminded me a bit of Kirsten Dunst!" And Kirsten Dunst is a very beautiful actor. Why you kept only a part of what I said is beyond me. I just hope that is not how you react to every compliment someone makes about you!
