April, after a particularly poor training session with Splinter, feeling disheartened over the loss of her father.

Near the end of Season 1, I don't know about you guys, but I would have much rather seen April rescue her father, than see Donny do it as some kind of romantic gesture. The whole basis of April's story arc is that she wants to save her dad! That's HER story, not Don's! I'm concerned abotu how much April's character's development is being discarded in favour of exploring her role as a love interest. I hope that by the end of Season 2, it'll be her who comes to save Kirby O'Neil from his state as a mutated bat!
