New year, new me (?)I started this new year feeling very energetic and motivated, but some things happened that lead to my mental health declining faster than I could realize. Originally, I really wanted to have a new profile picture for my social media but all I was left with after a few weeks was that feeling of emptiness and hopelessness. Somehow I still managed to get this piece done although I wanted to throw everything away halfway through (in the end I'm glad I didn't) and I still want to upload it as some sort of motivation or reminder that a happier, more colorful future might lie ahead even if it doesn't seem this way right now.
I hope that you are doing better and if not, that you don't lose hope and stay strong!

Hey, this is really, really, pretty. Stay happy and motivated! You might have no clue about the up and downs pertaining motivation and drive in med school, but every medical student that keeps on trying develops a way to cope. Great obstacles should foster the ability to push on and find solutions, not stop you. Your penguins bring alot of joy. Let that reflect you state of mind.
