I believe that he would have looked fairly attractive in his youth.. but with the added burden of being a werewolf, I can't imagine that his complexion would remain completely flawless and modelesque.
So, I was immediately drawn to the redness around his eyes. It adds alot more emotion and depth to this picture. Excellent job!

I saw this picture some time ago, I liked it at first sight. This drawing was on my tapescreen for a long time. Now I can say that I still love your image of Lupin. It's very 'loony' and very 'lupiny' (if I could write so). It 's that Lupin I saw in my mind when I was reading about young Marauders. He seems to be very sad and tired, but I think he gets better soon - the colours of the whole picture are so warm (and very optimistic for me). These colours and the cup of hot tea (or coffee?) in his hands give the hope of his healing. And to sum up, Lupin is one of my favourite characters in HP series, the depth of his mind and soul is one thing I like in him most. Thank you for his ideal portrait.
