Remember me talking about this? I'm finally done! That's me wearing the costume, but its for a client. She wanted to do the jewelry and armor herself so I made all the fabric parts. Predictably there will be a few questions so here's some info on my process:

All patterns, even the gloves, I made entirely from scratch and developed by fitting them on myself. My client is conveniently very close to my size.

Blouse- fabric is a poly/cotton blend which i used a little bit of color remover on to get the right shade. It was a bright violet before. I hand embroidered the pattern around the edges and set grommets in the back for the lacing.

Skirt- a heavier cotton twill which laces up under the blouse to give a tight fit. I sewed a golden ribbon to the hem and hand-embroidered the gold pattern. Also made a petticoat to give it a little body.

Hanging Tabard- sewed a couple layers together to give it some body and used self bias to edge it. Hand-embroidered the design.

Gloves- made of pleather, hand embroidered the pattern.

All in all, I have no idea how many hours I put into this but its been about two years of on and off work. And with this, my commissions are all finished! Time to get to work on some personal cosplay XD
