Day 18: behind door no. 18 of my art advent calendar:
Koro-Sensei from Assassination Classroom

First of all, I love the anime. The end of the anime was one of the saddest ends ever - it killed me, my heart..
My favorite character is Koro-Sensei, the teacher of Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High.
He claimed to be responsible for creating the permanent crescent moon and also mentioned to destroy the earth in a year. Before this going to happen, he becomes the teacher of Class 3-E. Besides the normal lessons, he trains them as assassins, because Class 3-E should be able to kill him.
Koro-Sensei turns out to be a pretty capable teacher and builds up a very strong bond with his class.
Even if the Class 3-E has to kill him, both sides have sympathy to each other and all the students respect him despite the fact he plans to destroy the earth. Koro-Sensei tries to have a focus on every single student and he was able to connect to each student individually.
In my opinion it's almost impossible to dislike Koro-Sensei. He deeply cares for his students and would lose his temper whenever any of them would get in danger.
At the first glance the anime was pretty funny and full of action - but then this plottwist 😨
After this unexpected plottwist, I loved Koro-Sensei much more, even though I liked him from the start.
All in all, I love Koro-Sensei because he is sympathetic, ambitious, observant, careful, passionate, sensitive and pretty empathic. Sometimes he can be petty-minded too. Depending on his mood, his skin color changes. Based on the color you can read off his state of mind well. I love that expressions and also his unique laugh.
Koro-Sensei's character is quite extensive. He also is incredibly strong and extremely fast.
However, this cute and lovely octopus has a special place in my heart! <3
