All right! I finally completed this! ^W^
This work is actually my 1st project for my intro
to computer graphics class. The project was to
make a postage stamp w/any design of our choice.
We had to use Layers, the gradient tool, and the
Pen tool on Abode Illustrator CS5 and add a
country and money amount.
I must say that mastering the pen tool was horrible for me
the first 2 weeks of the semester. I was taking a long time
to complete a pen tool exercise prior to this project. (The
layers and the rest are things I know...so it was esay.)
Obviously I got the hang of it. :3
I sketched my pic of Yusei and Shooting Star Dragon and
then used the pen tool; before that, we had to do at least
10 mini sketches to draft out the ideas. So the professor liked
My Yusei design. ^////^
Um I know that the Kaiba Corp. building Isn’t as accurate…
but oh well.
I also wanted to use Yusei’s clothingAt the end of the series. But even that probably isn’t accurate

it tho. ^W^Overall I’m happy with it since it’s my first work w/
illustrator.
…except the text…I dislike it…XP oh well I had to complete it since it was due yesterday.

Aww, thank you. ^W^ It was my first time working w/illustrator.
It's been almost two months. But I wish I could have added texture
or something.
still happy with it since, I was knew to the program. Vector really
isn't my thing though. XP For some reason working on Shooting Star
Dragon was a pain...I'd liked to re-do this with paint tool sai. ^W^

It can be hard sometimes. Especially if your up against some really good artists @_@
Also people like what they know. I bet if you had drawn Spiderman or Batman people would have liked it more because its more known.

Anyway. I really like it the way it is. The simple coloring and details are what make it cute.
I even really like it as a stamp.
If you could make this a plz stamp that would be amazing. Id definitely use it.

mainly it was just talking about what we liked in our
Classmates work.
So one started with pointing out with one they liked then the
artist would talk about it...then so on. So I was
the 4th to the last one...meaning...yeah. “It wasn't
that awesome.” …At least to them. :c
I still like it...I worked hard on it...^W^
And I don't like being mean...but some other people’s projects
lacked work...o.O oh well. People just don't appreciate
hard work. XP Of course there were many wonderful works

I feel better since today we had to place our
matted project on display in class today.
No one really said much about my stamp...
we started with one person talking about
another person's stamp and then it
went like that...there were only 4 left…
So really ppl were just force to say
something 'nice' T_T…. In an
Art class you don’t simply say “I
Like it.” You explain WHY! ;___;

much. But you know who cares

Not just art related but I took that as a lesson. You can't please anyone and there's
few people who understand the love people put into their art.
Anime related stuff isn't encourage in most art classes. Which is something I learned.*I speak for American colleges* lol.
I just do this for fun and while it's been a long while since I've been in an art class. I'd like to improve
how I add my anime influences outside of my fan art in school art... Can't say I've done that. Eh But I feel a bit more
confident!
