Description
Axl has arguably changed the least, of all the characters that got any degree of a makeover. She retains the same base character, just sporting a more muscular physique.
I’m leaning harder into Axl’s Cat/Lion parentage. Her mother is a cat, and her father is a lion. Her hair never felt 100% right to me, so I’ve changed it to be more voluminous and mane-like. Yeah, maned lionesses are a thing, and for that reason, Axl is a total tomboy. Dave has been retconned out of her history. Mostly because I don’t have the interest in maintaining male characters.
Axl’s companion Graymouse is absent, but still exists. They’re completely unchanged, but may eventually gain an anthro form. Haven’t decided.
