The Hoag Object? It was pretty cool. Maybe I should do one. It would look so magic and supernatural in some random planet's sky.

Thanks! I think it must be due to the unusual position of the Galaxy, we are not very accustomed to see it as a ceiling.

That galaxy!
It looks so much like telescope pictures, and I don't think I've seen art rendering of it look so realistic.
It would be really neat to see a galaxy from that perspective, just to see the glow and how bright it would be.

Thank you. Unfortunately most galaxies would be too dim for human eyes. They would look starry indeed, but mostly gray and hazy. I remember reading that the Milky Way would be dimmer than a full moon.

True, that telescope pictures of galaxies look a lot brighter than it would to our eyes. But what we see of the Milky Way doesn't include the center bulge, which is blocked by dust clouds. As viewed from above the plane the center bulge would look a good bit brighter than how we see the Milky Way. Of course some galaxies are a lot brighter than others. Some are quite dark.

Even the central bulge would be dimmer than the full moon. Assuming a galaxy as bright as Andromeda.
But this is one of the brightest ones. Young, dense and full of stars. Still it would look gray but I decided to keep that pretty shade of blue.

From year to year your works become more beautiful, more difficult, and more immerse us in faraway space! Thank you a lot for this.

Thanks! It wasn't easy and took a while to complete, but I think it was worth it.
