This is my universe’s Luna who is a historical figure who use to run all of the world with her sibling due to them being one of the last naturally born alicorns. Celestia and Luna were in charge of raising the sun and moon in their lifetime. they were given orders from the gods before them and that helped make running the entire world a bit easier, as well as having royal council who were also given blessings by the gods for their work, when nightmare moon corrupted lunas mind and body Celestia had gone to the gods for guidance in which they (Celestia is a they/them might change their name to Celestial) were told they had to kill nightmare moon and in proxy their beloved sister, Celestia knowing they had to obey the gods and knowing they knew best, followed orders, Celestia never forgave themselves for the corruption and subsequent killing of Luna, Living another thousand years ruling by themselves until their natural death in which they were buried right by their sister, Luna had become a god in her death and was waiting for her sibling patiently, never holding a grudge and remembering the lullaby her sibling sung for her every night for a thousand years. All their subjects nervous if their sun and moon would ever set or rise again, things stayed the same as the siblings continued their job as gods in the afterlife. But that was thousands of years ago, what about now? Well no alicorn has been born so it is believed that they were the lasts gods (Demi or not) to ever walk the earth, the ponies decided to divide countries to make ruling them a bit easier but sadly this caused war and division of the ponies who were now fighting for dominance over new territories.
