Japan, 1936
Her past is unknown. An old man found her as toodler in a forest and from then on she lived with him in a little village. Because of the colour of her eyes she was always teased by the other children, ''Monster, monster!'' they said. She became lonely and began to hide her face behind a large scarf..
One night a boy appeared and said to her: ''I can bring you to another world every night. Everything is possible there. You won't have to hide yourself and be alone anymore. You just have to trust me.''
He smiled and held out his hand. She gave him hers and they fled into the other world.
Shinshin was very happy with him by her side. But with the time she became ill. More and more.. The colour in her eyes began to disappear and she hid her face again behind the scarf. Slowly she began to understand that the boy did not have good intentions.
But she couldn't stop going with him. It was like an addiction.. Like every night he welcomed her with a happy smile on his face, but in his eyes was something else. Some voices whispered quietly to her:''Run..''
Shinshin never woked up again.
