You may be new to dA, or mabye you just haven't gotten around to figuring out the folder system in your gallery yet. So this is a little fact sheet to get you started making and using folders to help you promote your free avatars or maybe some other project you want to create for yourself at dA.If you have questions, please feel free to leave them in the comment selection below, and we'll try to find your answer if we can.

- DeviantART requires avatars to be exactly 50x50, under 15kb, and in any of the following file formats: .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png - make sure everything in your free avatar folder meets these standards.

FAQ #214: What are deviantART's policies regarding avatars? - Remember that avatars intended for use on deviantART should be uploaded to the correct category as follows: Customization > Icons > Avatars > deviantART (This will make it easier for people to find your avatars.)

Is there a specific site someone could link me to where you can put images together to create a gif that's 50x50 pixles and is 15 kb?
I know of sites like Makeagif and ones that can make sequential images into an animation sort of thing, but they either don't make them 15kb, of they have a silly watermark thing on them. (Stupid watermarks, I hate you SO much for that Makeagif.com, I really do. =-
