Well, here is my trade with almost done. I'm uploading it now casue I don't know when I'll be able to finish it. I'm having some family problems right now. So every one can enjoy this
I'm sorry if I made her fur to dark, I tried to keep it silver.
I did this without any ref except a mirror to do the pose myself (My fam thought I was odd. LOL. What's new?)

Oy. Look at that detail. [dies] You've inspired me to be better at coloured pencils. 8) Because I such muchly with those. Just curious, what brand do you use? I have a few Prisma and some good-quality offbrands, because I was too poor to get that lovely Prisma set.

I use prismacolors.. They are a bit expensive... but I used to use no name colored pencils. The trick to any coloring is layering. Despite you brand, try to layer enough to make a large contrast between dark and light area.

Well, I used to use Crapolas, which didn't get me anywhere. These pencils are about as good as the Prismas, actually, I tested 'em out, they're just about half the price. X) But I will try to keep a good contrast from light and dark, definitely, and who knows, maybe my first "real" coloured pencil picture won't totally suck.
