It has been quite some time since I last posted a photo from my Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventures game but I thought to at least get another photo from my archived pictures on what I took of the game last year. In the Icebound Gallery level, I had posted a picture of two pachycephalosaurs in a frozen fight . This is the other display in the centerpiece of the level, showing a tyrannosaurus (resembling Mama T-rex in the third movie) that was hunting an archaeopteryx frantically running away from the predator. This setup is likely a reference to the Ice Age 3 scene where Mama presented an archaeopteryx to her hatchlings (with Sid later releasing it to a pterosaur lol). In this case, the T-rex, hungry for prey, is locked into an icy embrace, stuck untouched by time yet never satisfied. The archaeopteryx, also left in this display, is stuck in a state of alarm. Trying to flee its danger, the tomb means it can never be gain refuge from its aggressor. Whether having looked for a snack or for safety, these dinosaurs are left frozen for time immemorial, unable to be satisfied with either desire. Such a fate leaves both in a state of eternal pursuit.
