More of Syren channeling. Just Wind this time. I finally found a brush with a nice taper. It is hard to draw hands and other details with it, though.

Hmm. His physical channeling may even seem like spells to some, haha. If I gave Syren's channeling a rank 1-10 (10.0 being lowest, 1.0 max, average people around 7, "channelers" are a minimum 5.0), I'd say he's a 1.9/1.3 in power/skill.

In terms of just channeling. Rinia would be 3.0/2.2, Tracine would be 3.5/1.2, Anic would be 1.0/5.0, Therim would be 1.3/1.7, Loraine would be 4.0/1.0, Nirsen would be 2.6/2.0, and Iea would be technically 1.0/1.0 on their scale, but on the elementals' scale (6.0 = 1.0 on the normal scale, most are also around 7.0), she's along the lines of 5.7/4.3 (she's young for a Nidian, but still a high level). Anic's power is actually 5.5 on the elemental scale.

Most people channel between 3/4 to 1/2 their capabilities. At that level, their pupils glow. In this image, Syren is channeling about a rank 2.3 manifestation. Any channeling below 1/5 of their capabilities comes naturally to them, and their pupils only flash a bit upon activation.
Channeling manifestations or spells at their rank is quite tiring, and those are the cases in which a ring would form in their iris.
Channeling beyond their capabilities (limit is usually x2) can cause temporary damage, though if it is for extended periods of time, the damage could be quite serious.
Ranks for channelings can also be split into power/skill if the difference is extremely high, but for ease, the rank is usually stated the average of the two.
Also, any spells or manifestations that are rank 1.5 or higher are considered "grand level." Rank 1.6-2.9 channelings are considered to be "high level" and still pretty powerful. Rank 3.0-4.5 channelings are "medium level." Rank 4.6-5.9 channelings are "low level". Any channelings 6.0 or below are not classified as spells or manifestations.
