I do enjoy the blocky-ness of the face, you've stylized the face of an animal who's rounded features make it look generally feminine thus giving this fellow some masculinity without losing the original animal.

You have a very good reason to like it. It's very good looking, the wings are so much better than I could ever do them *sigh*. The colors look very alive and the detail in shading very pleasing to the eye definatley a fine piece of artwork.
