Time for a looong story.
I'm in love with "A strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde". I love the musical, the book and the "The Glass Scientists" (great comics btw).
When I went to high school a year ago I joined a theater club and proposed to make a performance based on musical. Aside from having to write a script on my own, I was also a director AND I played the genius himself - dr Jekyll. It was my dream. A month ago that dream came true and we finally did our performance. Now I feel a void of some kind in my heart. I worked on this stage production through countless days and nights and now when it's over, I decided to... MAKE A COMIC!
I suppose it will take a long time before I will finally make it, but right now it's a plan and I want to do this someday. It will be a story of a young (not yet dr) Henry Jekyll in which he would meet his friend - Gabriel Utterson, his love - Lisa Carew, and his enemy - Simon Stride. At last, you will see Hyde, when Jekyll would be making his potion. I also want to mix original story and some subplots with my own ideas. So, you will also see some new things, like Jekyll's sister. It won't be as happy as The Glass Scientists and as dark as the original story. But I hope you will enjoy it anyway. Making of this comic was inspired by "The Glass Scientists", so you totally have to check it out!
