Your mean the Aracuan Bird ([link] ) appeared in Melody Time, not Panchito Pistoles.
But, Panchito and the Araquan Bird both appeared in "The Three Cabelleros".
It's hard to tell if Panchito and the Araquan Bird is the same character when you're a young child.

He comes on as a little too... proactive in the movie for my tastes. On the plus side, he has a wonderful design, and a great voice. Plus there's something about his maniacal boisterousness that's downright charismatic, somehow.
