.: I was never a very big fan of Nani and Sunburst, mainlybecause they arrived so late in the series and broke so many
aesthetical/ dress code "rules" that the shows visuals were so
heavily based on.
[STARTING HORSELAND RANT]
The streaks in the horses mane being a different colors than its tack,
the rider not having their top match the color in the horses streaks,
having a fancy double colored symbol for the horse, it's like they threw
it all away in with just one single character! Anyways, maybe I'm just
looking into it too much, but I never found any necessity in adding in
Nani with the gang in the first place. Sunburst had a boring
personality as well, not to mention the fact that they didn't even
appear consistently after their introduction. A real waste of the
animators time and energy, in my opinion.
[I'M NOT SORRY]
I'm still having touble keeping my coloring style consistent and staying
inside my lines without going over them 20 times. Maybe I'll the hang
of it someday... Just gotta keep practicing! Got my idea from this amazing
image I found -> [link] I don't think I would hve ever drawn Nani and
Sunburst otherwise~:.

coincedence actually! Nani was supposed to be sad and almost
crying, because I was thinking of making a short OOC story about
her not being able to fit in with the rest of the group. But I just
SUCK at drawing faces and emotions! So she just looks as stoned
faced and contemplative as her horse. x) :.

fans as well. Funny how not alot of people
like them! Not that they had any real screentime
to help them gain popularity.

.: Very true! I feel like the only reason they were
added in was either because of some sort of ethnic
quota or a thanksgiving themed episode. And to top
it all off, they made Nani SO not likable that I really
feel bad for the Natives. I feel like the message and
reason for her comming in to Horseland and talking
about heritage was completely ruined. If she wouldn't have
been so defensive straight from the get-go and didn't start
shit with Zoey about the cross-country team, I think she
could've had a decent chance of a good side character. :.
