Lost in my emotion as the tidesweeps me away. There is
nothing left but ocean,
neither stars nor moon nor day
to brighten up the
vastness of the emptiness
I feel.
The dark moves ever steady, creeping
through my soul. A numbing
cold endangers
my humanity in full.
Love and hate alike
give way - apathy is all
I feel.
Mortals try to move me - they never
get too far - ignorant
of my isolation, yet
sensitive to the scar
the rift has left in
my eyes, reflecting what
I feel.
