Description an xv9 hazard suit commander R'alai from forgeworld.
99% airbrushed (bit of drybrushing on the base) . note the carbon fiber shiny armor, the recessed lights between armor panels, and the inconspicuous shields deflecting an impressive barrage with the shield drones pulling their own weight on the small arms fire, and the primary shield shrugging off a hit from a strength 10 weapon.

That is beyond awesome.

How many points is it to upgrade a XV9 to carbon fiber?

WOW, JUST WOW!!!

2 questions thou...
1. How long did it take you to paint the pattern on the armour?
2. How'd you make those awesome shields?

That's not fair. There is so much win in this model, it's stifling the rest of the internet. Amazing work.

It looks truly amazing but sadly the wires there break the entire effect. I know is impossible any other way and transparent won't help much either... hope one they there will be some fully transparent meta-material

yea i played with a few materials for support but they were too bulky and even more noticable or too flimsy. I finally used wires since anything transparent at that scale will likly shatter or badly and permanently deform with a minor impact.
