I wish I was able to color it in. But perhaps someone else on the team will have the time for that.

the thing is though... the way i thought about it.
how are people going to connect with him if he's new?
There are a lot of tails fans out there and to see another tails like character in the series, they then will be more likely to connect to Zed through the similarities.
It sounds kinda stupid right now, but I know that it'll work. Plus it'll be way more easier to recreate when you are finally able to animate the series. You can use a tails base, but alter it just a bit. The running frames would be clear and not sloppy from unnatural lines or final decisions on a new concept character.
