Inspired by Samurai Jack and the incredible work of Scott Wills.The three-eyed exotic alien dancer from the second episode: "The Samurai Called Jack".
I always love the bit where she parts her hair for the first time and you see the third eye as a surprise. The pacing in that scene is great.

She didn't have her ponytails on when I saw her spy on Jack talking to the dogs. Could she and ponytail girl be one and the same?

I only have Photoshop so no vectors for me I guess heh
A lot of people think I use vectors but I actually edit most of my line work to look like vector work, it takes a long time but it looks good in the end

Really an undeserving tribute to Scott Wills, one of the greatest background painters ever. I'm still fairly happy with this piece, though I should have avoided using so many straight lines, oh well!

I miss shows like Samurai Jack and all the good not so old stuff that's no longer around. I agree with everyone here about cartoon network's programing going downhill. They're making new stuff but none of it stands out anymore. I absolutely loved Samurai Jack for it's intense action, driving storylines, and the artwork. It shall be missed.

Me too, we're in cartoon hell right now, there always seems to be a boom/bust cycle with cartoons. It's like if stuff is good then its around all at the same time but when stuff sucks, everything just dies.
Beyond Venture Bros there isn't much I keep tabs on these days, everything is cold, flat and unfunny.

I can't even remember the last episode, but yeah, there are a lot of episodes where you hit the credits and go "was that it?"

Love to catch the small characters that happen by on the shows, sometimes they're the best cause they get so little attention.
But wow AtomicTiki on getting the style and coloring method of the show down to just perfection, still wonder why Jack never found a lady along his travels.
