Hey everyone,

So this is one art trade I did with a young artist from instagram. Their character design for their original character reminded me so much of my art when I was younger so I definitely had a fun time recreating her for them. I am personally really proud of a couple of things from this illustration and that's a huge thing for me. I took a long break from art and this was one of the first real drawings I made since then. In the end, I was really happy with the results and am glad that I didn't lose my skills entirely.

I'm really happy for the pose, shading and overall mood of the piece. I wanted her aura to be light and happy and I think I was able to accomplish that. In addition, the overall shape of her pose was fun to draw and I like how the line of the jacket string from her hand to her chest provides a sense of direction.
