These pikmin are quite small, infact they're the same size as white pikmin. They have the ability to put any docile creature into some kind of trance, making them do their dirty work (carrying stuff to their onion or fight threats). They're somewhat smarter than regular pikmin, unwanting to be put to work unless it benefits them.
Their "pearls" allow them to use this enigmatic power, although durable, even a small crack will cause these pikmin to be unable to use them anymore. They will not die from though, but their chances of survival will decrease by a ton.
