thanks! I was pretty lucky, we were one of the last groups to go through, so there weren't any tourists when we got to the end. Plus it wasn't summer, so there were less people anyway xP
and yes, it is a very lovely indeed

ugh ours was so busy! The bus filled up and there were 4 seats empty, but two families of 5 to fill them, so my mum had to go on a different bus to us But the groups merged later so it was okay

Oh wow that's so cool! When did you go here?

I heard after the LotR the farmer who owned the land made them tear Hobbiton down...then obviously regretted it when the films were so popular so when they came to do the Hobbit he asked if they could make it all out of permanent materials

And coincidence I'm watching LotR now 'cus I just bought the extended editions

i went about the beginning of june, end of may ish
Yeah, they talked about it on the tour but i don't quite remember exactly, but they didn't pull it down completely, and the locals came and had a look and found it interesting so they kept it as is, and yeah, built for hobbit again
aw cool! i rewatched them all a few months back cos I'd just got the extended editions too
