The transition from 2d to 3d with the shadows on the larger leaves and the boxing of elements throughout remind me er much of Dave McKean's works. The hyper real textures on the branches from the colouring totally rock. And the bees?

liked the way you incorporated the colors, monochromatic, no distracting contrasts, relaxing and haunting, tells a lot of stories.....something i would hung up in my room... its so halloweenish! hehe!!! very nice piece!!!

Very different but I like how the bee hive stands out and the tree practically looks as if it's coming from no where although the base is visible.

Thats one hell of a "doodle"!! Really fantastic composition, the leaves on the tree, the doors at the bottom, especially the shadowy trees in the background. For being mostly one color I love how much starts to appear the more one looks at it. It's all shades instead of obvious parts. Subtle, well done.
