Description
One of my characters, Dianna Chen. I messed up on her eyes, she's supposed to be Chinese, but I lost the shape somewhere in the process. Anyways this is another design. My story is more of an 'urban fantasy' so I wanted to add a bit more realism to their outfits. Rather than things being more out worldly or skimpy, they're clothing is supposed to be what you see everyday. The last thing a 'Guardian' wants to do is attract unwanted attention, especially when they're constantly being chased after.

In a sense, Dianna is a guardian angel to Alex Caelum. Always protecting him, even when he's not aware. From the gold, it's obvious to tell that she's some sort of manifestation of light or at least something in regards to the moon (think Greek Goddess Artemis or Roman Goddess Diana...see what I did there?). But with light, darkness always follows. She's supposed to be around 14-15 when my story starts, I failed to capture that here, but for being such a young age and being forced to raise herself, so to speak, she grew up fast.

Personality wise I'm still a bit unsure what she's like. I still need to write with her a bit more to get a better feel, but at the same time I'm still trying to figure out who Alex is. Oh and someone made a comment once about how they think I love the name Alex or something. My response to that is most of my oc's you see in all these fandoms derive from this particular story (it's just evolved over the years, characters cut/added/etc), but not only that, their names usually have meaning behind them. Dianna, for example is in reference to the Roman Goddess Diana, who relates to the moon. And Alexander, according to the name dictionary means the 'protector of men' or 'to defend'. So I sort of translate it as leader, hence my main character being named Alex. I felt the need to share that because someone said something about it, and while I don't think there was any ill intent, it still irked me.

Anyways I felt the need to draw out my original character and something nonfandom related

Speaking of reference, since she's supposed to be young, it's quite hard to find an actress I find suitable for her. There's a Chinese actress that kinda works, but I've only seen one picture of her that I like, the rest she looks kinda old -_-
