Archimedes was born in the Circles before they'd fully formed, though she doesn't talk about it very much, it's thought she was around before the Kings rose to power and the women stopped being born. Short of that, she's a mystery. An inventor who created and helped the Underground City form, she is incredibly intelligent and constantly working on the city to make it independent, impregnable, and safe from the Kings. Almost always holed up in her library, turned lab, she tends to be neglectful of herself which worries all the other women, though she's very caring and wise.
