Tristan couldn't help but chuckle as one of the small kiddies swayed a wooden sword at him. He widened his eyes and offered a smile, clearly trying to look impressed. "I see what you mean. I could never take responsibility over the life of such fragile things." A frown played over his lips for a moment, his words didn't quite ring true..."I'm sure they'll go to be strong."

She lowered her gaze, to follow the stranger's. Her itsy bitsy freddie , waving his sword at the new fellow. "I do hope so, but one can only really hope for the best" she sighed, but managed a small smile. " Now I must say mister if you don't mind.." she paused, for a while wondering where this figure may be from. "Where might you be from? I am entirely sure you aren't from these parts" jolene smiled. Behind her, fen fen clutched onto his mother, his big brown eyes staring intently at the man.

A soft nicker slipped through his lips as he faced the woman's bright expression. Being smiled at wasn't usual and it felt nice to receive such a warm look. "I come from the territory of Horselves. Used to be a knight for one of the lords there, but I strayed away and came to look for a new home." His eyes glanced over one of the children, their small figure huddling behind the mother as if she was a shield."I must seem very rude, I haven't said my name. I'm Tristan."
