Description There is a hypothesis that we might not be the first advanced civilization on this planet, and that nuclear wars might have ravaged the paleolithic/mesolithic Earth.

Here one of the concepts of the vehicle that might have been used those days.

Black Flag (proto-American nations or alliance, in myths referenced as Fomorians/Youtuns/Mu) AV24 assault VTOL
The concept of vehicle supposed to be an assault VTOL, with the role in combined arms sinilar to Mi-24 variants. It's supposed to be made with technologies surpassing modern day ones.
It has electrical engines, and can be "refueled" wirelessly (albeit it's very inefficient way of regueling, it might be needed if prolonged CAS required for the ground units). It has a 30-mm railgun turret as a main weapon (thus the "flying tank" concept), but is also using a variety of missiles depending on the situation those blocks are interchangeable.
It has optical sensors (one can clearly be seen on the nose) that allow 360° view for a single pilot. It also may act as a drone - like a K-MAX real life helo. In fact the only reason there's pilo at all is because it's made for a doctrine that based around a total nuclear war with vehicles being used in a heavy electromagnetic field environments. Also enemy would use radioelectronic warfare to mess with remote controls.
Sure, today one pilot has hard times dealing with all those systems (Ka-50 proved that) but in the time those things were around flight and fire controls were far more sophisticated with powerful automation.
The propulsion of the vehicle is a combined jet and rotor - therefore the said rotors are seemingly "small"
