Also I had planned on mentioning her Machoke which is now actually a Machamp is named Ardor! And if anyone did reference it he'd hang round a Mienshao with a band round it's eyes

Normal types are a VERY good type. First off, it is only weak to fighting, which you don't encounter that often. Second, it is immune to ghost. 3rd, this type has a GINORMOUS move pool. and finally, most of them are just plain ADORABLE
