Yeah so this took like an hour or less. :< I really just wanted to draw what I wanted to, for a break. Except I didn't think some things through, so this drawing isn't as good as it should be. u_uAnyway, I reread Sunwing over the Christmas break. I was in a Kenneth Oppel mood after finishing Darkwing (which owned massively), and holy crap, you can SEE an improvement in his writing, lol. I'm no writer, but I was like OMG the writing in Darkwing and Skybreaker = a whole lot better.
Maybe art college is making me draw faster?
? I dunno, but my style as definitely improved since my last Goth drawing . I'm really pleased with the detail in his face. ^^ I'll probably fix it up and colour it later, but after that painting/design/colour experimental class I really just wanna work on proportions.0.3 ink on drawing paper

Darkwing did massively own didn't it? I loved the fact that for the most part the antagonist carnassiel was acting independantly of the prtagonist Dusk, not like goth in his rather obsessive hunting of Shade

Yes! I agree completely - I loved how the antagonist also had a backstory where you understood where he was coming from, rather than just "oh, he's a bad guy! evil!" like Goth was. Great stories ^^

I just finished silver wing and am starting darkwing I can't stop thinking about what will happen to goth and his god cama zots I like shade and marina but ...I love goth and throbb although um well... poor throbb

Love this! He has a certain 'wickedness' in his face now, and is still believable as a false vampire bat.
I just realized who you are! You did those ink drawings of Shade and Marina. I LOVE those so much, that when I first saw them about a year ago, I saved them to my harddrive. My screen savor is a 'My Pictures Slideshow' so it pops up on my screen every now and then!
