The Tier 4 Archer Infantry for Sarranid Faction, the Sarranid Archer is a well armed Archer unit, mainly due to all of them wearing the Archer's Padded Vest which gave them a higher Armor Average than the Swadian Crossbowman, Rhodok Veteran Crossbowman and Vaegir Archer, Nord Veteran Archer still posses the highest Armor Value in the game.
Compared to the Vaegir Archers which is almost similar to Sarranid Archers, Sarranid Archers have more Melee Proficiencies(+20 to be exact) but less striking weapon choices as Vaegir Archers could bring an axe if it came for melee, and while Sarranid Archers always use the Nomad Bows for Range while the Vaegir Archers would use either a Short or Nomad Bow, Sarranid Archer have 10 less Proficiencies with the bow compared to Vaegir Archers.
However it's still important to keep them away from Melee as they're less equipped than their predecessor Sarranid Skirmishers who has a chance of having a shield.
